For those who died today in Pennsylvania

And the injured who's fate in not in our hands right now.
I am so sorry.
I am holding Caroline next to me and thinking about those people who can't hug their children any more because some (censored words here) walked into an Amish school and picked out who he thought should live and who should die for some slight that happened 20 years ago. I hope that his soul never knows peace again.

I'm with you 100% (including holding Teddy). It isn't "revenge" like he said - revenge would be against the people who wronged him. What kind of thing could have happened 20 years ago to cause him to kill girls that weren't even alive then?

The world is scaring me as a place to raise my son. It seems like every day gets crazier, threats come more often. Maybe it's just a difference of perspective, but I don't remember it being like this when I was in school 20 years ago.

Me neither. There were a couple of fights and some drug use but that was it.

I guess all we can do is hold them close and raise them well as we can. They are our legacy for the future.
