and their families who will never know that I wrote this.
And the injured who's fate in not in our hands right now.
I am so sorry.
I am holding Caroline next to me and thinking about those people who can't hug their children any more because some (censored words here) walked into an Amish school and picked out who he thought should live and who should die for some slight that happened 20 years ago. I hope that his soul never knows peace again.

Date: 2006-10-02 08:53 pm (UTC)The world is scaring me as a place to raise my son. It seems like every day gets crazier, threats come more often. Maybe it's just a difference of perspective, but I don't remember it being like this when I was in school 20 years ago.
