A Taste of Things to Come

puppetmakerThere is a taste of fall in the air. A promise of colder days to come. I really like this kind of morning which is a good thing since it started rather early this morning.
I got the first round of sewing done on 4 of the 11 puppet bodies. Now to stuff and do round 2 and the bodies will take form. Then onto the next 4 which I hope to have to this point by tomorrow in which I will complete the last 3 giving me bodies to dress next week.
I am thinking of doing a set of ATC s for Dragon*Con and see if anyone wants to trade. I am thinking about making little cards that can be turned into a simple hand puppet. I'll have to see if I can get it to work correctly.
Caroline has been drawing animals all morning. Some are recognizable and other not so much but she is exercising those mental drawing muscles. All have been done in purple.
I am grateful for our current weather.
