Just a bit of an update

puppetmakerPeter went to the local bowling alley where he was having one of his bowling balls resurfaced. He noticed that they didn't have the TV on during the Subway series game. He asked them why the TV was off. "What's the point?" says one of the guys, "They are losing 8 to 2." The other guy says, "No, they are winning 8 to 2." There ya go the Mets/Yankees in a nutshell or at least a bowling alley pro shop.
Not as much as I would like but more than I thought I was going to get done. The patterns are all cut out now this morning I do monster mouths and fabric cutting this morning. We took Caroline's old play pen and set it up on the front porch so she could go out and play with her chalk and I could watch her from my cutting table. She came in once or twice for a drink of water and a potty break but she was quite happy coloring outside. It was hot but not too hot. This morning is down right pleasant outside. Not bad for July.
Peter and I watched "The Matador" with Pierce Brosnan last night. Not exactly what the trailers made it out to be but a fine film in its own right. You could look at it as what would probably happen to James Bond down the road with all the drinking and womanizing. Lots of sexual situations and naked people along the way so it earned itself the R rating not to mention the violence of the work of an assassin. It didn't really need to be seen in theaters and works quite well on the small screen.
I am grateful that the weather is so nice this morning.
