Still a day ahead of myself

I thought it was Wednesday this morning but I realized it was Tuesday before dragging the recyclables out to the curb.
Caroline has a little bit of the sniffies but she was well enough to go to school. I need to get a child’s decongestant since she finished up what she had this morning. I also had to stand over her so she would do her homework this morning. I think I am going to institute a new policy about homework so she gets it done that day rather than the next morning. It was about 10 minutes and she was done but there was a lot of build up to it.
Happy Birthday to Theresa Mather, an incredible artist. I have drooled (at a distance) over her artwork. Caroline has two pieces of her work in her room.
In two weeks I will be at FoolsCap with Peter and Caroline. I hope to see some of my Seattle buddies while I am out there.
Today I have a couple of things that need to be done and a couple of things I want to do. I think I am going to evenly split my day between the two.
I did watch football this weekend. The most exciting game was the Bills/Pats game. One turn over and it was a whole new ballgame. Giants won and came out not too banged up. The Jets won but they have always won against Texas. I am taking a wait and see attitude. I feel very sorry for the young Lion’s QB. The Saints were unstoppable and made the win a Brees. College shook out about how I expected it to. I have a feeling that there was a lot of shouting in the Buckeyes locker room the next day.
I am grateful that Caroline does, eventually, do her homework (Honestly Mom, I don’t know how you did it with four kids).
