DragonCon 2009 The Preshow

puppetmakerWe arrived in pretty good time on Wednesday and checked into one of the loveliest suites in the hotel. The drive was fine. Long but fine. Caroline is happily ensconced at my parents. We gave her all her options but she told us that she wanted to stay with her grandparents for the weekend.
So far today I have gotten every thing ready for the Art Show, given blood, and gotten a few other errands that needed to be done finished up. Next is to get the badges and set up in the Art show. After that, well I have to figure out what I am doing this evening.
I have already run into a number of old friends and caught up on news both good and bad.
I am looking forward to the rest of the weekend.
I am grateful that we made it to Atlanta safely.
