Mostly about Caroline

Caroline's new movie obsession is Robots a movie that didn't particularly impress Peter or Ariel. I hadn't seen it until it came into rotation on HBO families. I don't think it is the worst movie I have ever seen and I do understand why Caroline likes it because she told me. She likes that there is a family. She loves Robot City and the other visuals in the film. The first time I watched it with her, she gave me a running commentary as to what happened and what is going to happen. She is getting really good at following a story and telling me what is going to happen next.
When I read to her and it is one of her favorite books, she will comment on what is going to happen on the next page. She follows the story very closely. I'll ask her questions about it and she gives me some pretty good answers including how other characters feel in the story. When she tells me stories or herself when she is playing with her toys, she gets very complex as to who is doing what. They mostly revolved around Mommies and Daddies rescuing baby animals and playing with each other. Sometimes she has grandparents joining in on the fun. Her imagination is vast and now she can express it better than before.
She still loves to draw with her Magna Doodle. She will sit for long periods of time and make a drawing, erase it, and make another. Sort of Zen art. Currently she is enjoying drawing trees. Her puppies are pretty good too.
I hope to get some pictures up soon. I will get the picture of Ariel and the Big Honking Trophy up this weekend. Muchly is in the mix for new pics too.
I am grateful for my daughter and I can't say that often enough.
