Baseball is back! Spring is here! Yeeeaaaaaaaa!!!!! (With my best Kermit the Frog waving of the arms impression)
All the speculation and talk that has come out of spring training is now going out onto the field to prove themselves right or wrong. The Mets are playing the Nationals this afternoon at 1:10 on ESPN. Braves start at 4:10 on ESPN. With any luck my parents will probably be home by opening pitch. Yesterday I saw the Vegas Odds on the MLB teams as to who is going to win the World Series. It was funny seeing the whole season mapped out without a pitch having been thrown.
Spring is here. It was a very nice day yesterday. The flowers are in bloom and we even got a little bit of rain. Caroline took a walk with her Grandmother and told her about the neighborhood as they walked. I was off with Peter watching Ariel bowl in a tournament that she did pretty well in. Caroline has had a good visit with her grandparents. My dad sent me the pictures he took so I will probably put up a selection for those who are following the growth of Caroline. She showed her soccer prowess to them and they were impressed. She has quick feet already.
I have Wendy Froud's Doll class this next weekend and I am looking forward to it. Wendy is a great instructor and always has fun tales to tell. I need to get my materials together for the course. I am probably going in Friday for a theater event but we need to firm that up a bit before I say anymore. So I will probably be off-line for this next weekend since I will be spending most of my time doll making. I'm trying to get to the point were I don't feel guilty when I don't post something. But I still hate looking at the calendar and seeing days that I missed.
I am grateful for the sound of Caroline talking.
