Shameless plug for a really good writer and it relates to Dr. Who
Joe Nazzaro who has written quite a number of articles I have read over the years in various publications currently has a number of articles and interviews online at SciFi Wire about Dr. Who. His aim is to help new viewers get their feet under them before viewing Friday's episode. Joe is also the author of "The Creatures of FarScape" which is a really good overview of the Henson creations used in the series. I highly recommend his work.
Just to Clarify
I have seen all the Eccelston episodes, the charity special, and 'Christmas Invasion' with some help from some kind friends and colleges. I just want to make sure that everyone else can see them and the next season as well. If you miss them at 9 and 10, they are repeating at 11 and 12 on Friday Night. Watch and enjoy.
The Weather
Signs of spring are all over my lawn. The crocuses are popping up and blooming covering the lawn with pretty purple flowers. The daffodils are on their way as well. The wind is very brisk this morning but there is a tinge of warmth to it. It feels like the earth is waking up again. But of course there are rumors of snow in the air on Friday. Feels like March to me.
Speaking of March Madness
What is going on with the NCAA tournament this year? Some of their choices were very strange and even more strange some of the teams that were not invited to the dance who had a perfectly acceptable record this season as compared to some of the school who made it in. The brackets are a little wacky this year too. I probably wouldn't be doing any picks until we get to the sweet 16. My past picks with this tourney are better than my NFL picks.
I am grateful for good articles about shows I love.
