Can Anyone Explain This One To Me?

I had strange dream last night. It started as a nightmare and turned into a happy ending. I was about 15 again and with my father in a large lab. Someone had set off a chain reaction that was going to turn into a nuclear explosion. There were lasers involved somewhere which was why my father and I were there. The time was counting down and my father and I were trying to figure out a way to stop it. Then I got the brilliant idea to cut the power to the room thus stopping the countdown but the power box in the hall was locked. My father told me to go find Raj since he had the key. I run down the hall with about 2 minutes left until Boom. I run into this dean's lounge where there is a cocktail party going on that my mother is attending. My father and I had been there earlier but then got called away because of the bomb. I am sweating bullets because we are about to go BOOM. I find my mother and ask her if she has seen Raj. She points him out. He is laughing with a group of scientists in white lab coats. I go and grab him and inform him he has about a minute to cut the power to the lab or boom. Raj pulls a key out of his pocket and walks (which is driving me crazy because I think we are going to go boom because he won't run) and unlocks the box and cuts the power. No Boom and I am so relieved. About this point I woke up and my heart was still pounding. But at least it had a happy ending. I have strange dreams.

Where anyone has shoveled is clear. The rest of the world is a sheet of ice. It is a sunny cold morning with a bit of wind to make it just that much colder. It is one of those good indoor days. I got the two projects I had to have done this weekend done so now onto the next crises or as I call them projects.

I am of two minds about this World Baseball thingy this March. If one of my Mets or Braves or Orioles gets hurt and can't play because of it then I will be of one mind. I really don' t understand other than marketing what this is suppose to do.

LunaCon is a couple of weeks away and I have half a table to display items in the Art Show. I am working out what I am taking with me. I have one new idea I want to see if I can execute for the show based on something I was reading about. I believe learning new techniques is a good way to grow as an artist and I have something I want to try that if it works will give me a whole need medium to play in. I got my ATCs done and I took pictures of them which I will post after the swap is done. I think I might make some more for LunaCon. What I would really like to do is set up an ATC swap at DragonCon. I think that would be cool.

The WBC isn't for anyone in this country, it's for folks elsewhere, to give them a chance to see their players against the elite. Having said that, having it in March is stupid on every possible level, particularly for the pitchers, and has resulted in large numbers of the elite players pulling out of it.

The basic idea is a good one, but the execution has been wretched from the ground up and from the roof on down the other side.
