The Slushy Landscape
Jan. 24th, 2015 09:33 amIt snowed last night and started raining this morning giving us a lovely slushy mixture across the landscape. So I am going to let Mother Nature take care of the mess for me. I am hoping that we don’t get a hard freeze before most of this is gone. Currently it looks like Tuesday is French Toast day. I am probably going to do a short shop for things we need on Monday so Tuesday will be a day of nothing.
Caroline is no longer running a fever and she is down to the sniffles for symptoms. She is tired of blowing her nose and her eyes watering.
So life is slowly returning to normal. Last night we were all able to sleep in our own beds. The cats are back in their normal sleeping areas.
Today is going to be indoor activities. I am going to give Caroline another sewing lesson.
Well that and laundry.
So it is the Seahawks vs. the Patriots. That the pundits are still on the deflated balls is rather tired. It really didn’t affect the outcome of the game. That was a blow out no matter which way you look at it.
Also I am getting tired of the –gate thing. It was called Watergate because that was the name of the building but it has morphed into anything that is scandalous turns into (fill in the blank)-gate.
I am grateful for not having to shovel slush this morning.
