New Who Review for Dark Water
Nov. 3rd, 2014 08:41 amWe are coming to the end of another season of Dr. Who. I hadn't realized it had been that long. It seems that we just started this wacky journey with the new Doctor and it is concluding.
Most of this review is going to be behind a cut due to it is very hard to talk about it without spoilers since the whole thing was a rollercoaster ride of highs and lows.
Many many kudos to the actors especially Mr. Capaldi and Ms. Coleman. I thought this was some of the best work Ms. Coleman has done this whole season. The scene with the Doctor and the Volcano was intense. Mr. Anderson was in the difficult position of having to act without much action. Believe me it is harder to do that than pretend you are fighting Daleks.
Michelle Gomez was fun. Nothing felt out of place considering what we had seen of her before. More on her character in the spoiler section.
Nice start to the conclusion. Awaiting what happens next.
