Glasses ordered and should be in by Friday (I hope). I am getting tired of the consistent headache I am getting from trying to read without them so this blog may go on hiatus until I can type without pain.

As to Dragon*Con, we were going anyway for many reasons including the fans. I am happy that they did managed to dissolve and then incorporate into a new company. And contrary to some things that have been popping up around the internet, this sort of thing can take years to do. It isn’t a six month and done deal. It has been in the works for quite a while but now it is at a point that they can announce it.

Caroline is vibrating with anticipation for her trip that starts Saturday. She has plans with her eldest sister and the friends she has made in Jacksonville that sound pretty cool. She will see the O’Shea side of the family as well and play with her cousin who is only 6 weeks older than her. Shana and Caroline have been working on what they are going to do for a while now and I have to admit, it sounds awesome.

I got the e-mail from the Dragon*Con art show I have been expecting for a while now. I have to finalize my table contents for this year.

I have been watching the NASA feed for the space walk this morning. It is really neat. They are picking up some experiments that they are bringing back to Earth for study and getting the space station ready for a new science module. They are dealing with problems that we never have to deal with including trying to grab things that are floating while they are floating.

Well Warehouse 13 knew how to leave you hanging. Not as positive about the end of the first season of Defiance. That was a bit muddy. Now we have to wait until 2014 for the next set of episodes.

I am grateful for restful sleep when I can get it.
