Sticking My Neck Out
Feb. 24th, 2013 11:53 amAs in I have a tendency to what I call turtle in which I curve my shoulders in and push my neck forward. I am working very hard at improving my posture and how I hold my head/neck to take pressure off the neck. This is not easy to do since I have been turtling for a while and one can’t change over night years of a bad habit (OK maybe some people can but I am not one of them.)
I have to adjust the screen on the computer to try to keep my neck in the proper position. I think I am doing it right. Trying to find a corner of the house where I can do my exercises has been a bit of a challenge.
Peter has been doing his exercises (aka homework) as well. He is continuing to improve but it can be a hard process. He can get both arms over his head, which is a big step up from even a week ago and he says his right leg is feeling stronger every day.
Today Caroline and I are going to the library to get some more books on her science fair project both on animal behavior and cat training. We need to firm up how we are going to do this experiment. She needs to start her paper for the project.
I am grateful for cats that are willing to learn.
