puppetmaker: (Peter David and Me)
I just got schooled on the differences between panthers and pumas. Not just a little schooled but right down to the scientific names for each.

At least she doesn’t rub it in.

Yesterday was a day of less driving. One of the places I took Peter was to his barber who has been his barber for many years. He got Peter to Peter’s pre-stroke look. Peter says he feels better now.

Today is about household chores and library going for science fair project.

The weather is about to turn strange again. I am going to get try to get the cat boxes done before it starts to rain/snow/sleet/ or what ever it is going to do.

Oscars are tomorrow. I am doing better than usual for seeing the various films nominated. Thank you Shana and Tim for helping me catch up on the shorts.

I really don’t care to repeat any of the wacky dreams I had last night. I can’t say I had a restful night’s sleep. And the neck is not in the best of places. I did my stretches and couldn’t get as far as I had the day before.

But life goes on.

And that’s my mantra right now along with this too shall pass, forward is the way that we must go, and can’t change the past.

And of course Oogway’s famous quote, “You are too concerned about what was and what will be. There is a saying: Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the ‘present.’”

Right now I have to live in the present because that is the only place I can affect the future.

Off to stretch and deal with kitty droppings before the precipitation starts in whatever form it is going to show up in.

I am grateful for things that will help me both in the now and the future.
