It is the Year of the Snake. I wish all who celebrate a happy and prosperous New Year.

We are home. It was a little more of an adventure than I would have liked. The roads were not in great condition but our driver got us from the airport to the house safely.

Peter is very happy to be home. He got lots of hugs from Caroline. The cats stayed out of his path. He was able to navigate the steps into the house and up to our bedroom. He got to sleep in his own bed for the first time in about 6 weeks.

Today is going to be a pretty quiet one and I think we are all looking forward to it being quiet.

I am grateful for getting home yesterday.
