Among other things as well
Congratulations to the Packers and the Cheeseheads for a well played game. It was nice to see such an exciting game with chances for both teams some that they cashed in on and some that they didn’t. The Steelers didn’t play bad at all. The Packers just played a little bit better. Peter who was blogging the commercials said in the last 5 minutes of the fourth quarters, “This is a good game.” Which is was. I could have done with a few less commercials and some more minutes of play strung together.
Yesterday was a pretty busy day. I got most of Caroline’s costume done and fitted to her. I have a few details and a headpiece to do. Next Ariel’s tunic and wig. The wig is the biggest project in the whole piece. More on that tomorrow for Crafty Tuesday.
Is anyone else watching Faceoff? I am interested in the challenges and wonder how much longer a couple of these people are going to be on. They have skills but there are some that are so much more well versed in the materials.
Caroline and I have decided that Fig is a dragon disguised as a cat. She makes a very weird burble sound that I have never heard another cat make. She does meow and purr like a normal cat but then there is this sound that sounds like she is saying Brrrrrr with a rolled “r” and it up ticks in tone. So Caroline figured that she has to be a dragon because of one of the noises that a dragon making in “How to Train Your Dragon”.
I can see my lawn again. Which means that we are due for another snow storm. But today is a balmy 42 which feels warm after all the freezing weather we have been having.
See it is not all about football.
We noshed very well last night. I tried to time it out so we could graze. Caroline had her dinner at the usual time. I did find a 3 layer dip that had things that I like. I also found a 7 layer one I want to try sometime.
So today is my busy day. I have a number of things that are pretty much set for the day.
I am grateful for things that I have control over.
