Superbowl Sunday 2011
Feb. 6th, 2011 09:04 amThis was almost a Random Thoughts before the Coffee kicks in (RTBTCKI) but I had a cup before sitting down to the keyboard.
So today is the Superbowl with two teams with a lot of tradition and traditions. If the Steelers win I think my sister-in-law is going to be happy because she lived in Pittsburg. If the Packers win, then my stepdaughter is going to be happy because she is in Cheese country. There are a lot of Steeler and Packer fans all over the country. It will be interesting to see what the final numbers are for viewing. They should be fairly good since we, the people of the USA, have made it important. There will be a lot of fans watching the game and going over what went wrong that their team was not there playing on their TV.
Apparently for 200 you can freeze your extremities off and watch the game from outside the stadium so you can feel like you are part of it. No thank you. I would rather see it from my warm house with my stove so I can make us yummy food to nosh. I need to sort out a good receipt for 7 layer dip. Anyone know one?
Caroline was violently ill yesterday morning but she improved during the day and this morning she is back to normal.
I need to clip my finger nails because it is hard to type. For those who have known me for more than 20 years, I have stopped biting my nails. I stopped about the time I was pregnant with Caroline. Now I have to keep them short because I tend to tear them with all the crafty stuff I play around with.
For a while I thought my dishwasher was dying. It wasn’t getting things as sparkly clean as it had been. Turns out it is not my dishwasher but the reformulated detergent which has less to none of certain substances that are bad for the environment but in doing so the dishes come out not as clean. They are still technically clean but I am doing a lot more rinsing before loading than I did before. I just remind myself that it is easier than washing them by hand.
The “new” Pokemon movies have a lot more computer animation in them especially for the ships and machines. Has anyone heard anything more about the New Harlock film?

Peter is in the Boss fight in the attic of Lonesome Manor. He figured out what he needs to do. Now he has to do it and it is pretty complicated too.
Costumes are today until Superbowl and then I think I am going to sculpt while watching the game. I need to get Ariel a black turtle-neck for her costume. She also needs plain black shoes. Caroline is going to need plain black flats for hers. I am trying to see if there is a store around here I can get her plain black flats. Once the costumes are done, I am on to the Farpoint Art show and postcards for a swap.
I applied for yet another job on an editorial staff. I figure it is going to be another where my resume is used to prove that they looked before hiring in house. Which is really sad since I have mad editing skillz and some kickin’ connections along with a work ethic that doesn’t quit. The division that takes me in would have one heck of an employee.
Fig is a hidey cat. We have to be careful when we sit down because she might be hiding under a throw. She also loved paper-bags. When she gets in trouble, she will run for her paper-bag in the kitchen and hide. She will also fall asleep in her paper-bag. She still loves to sit on my chest and fall asleep.
I am grateful that Caroline is back to normal. Sick Caroline is not much fun.
