MMQB 2008 Week 10
Nov. 10th, 2008 10:38 amWell that was an exciting weekend of football. Both college and professional teams had games that came down to the last play. A lot of good games were played.
The Jets set yet another club record in their drubbing of the Rams. They are proving that they have a team that might go all the way. Next week is a big one for them. They take on the Pats on the Patriots territory on short rest since the game is Thursday. Both teams are coming off wins and the Pats have something to prove. It will either be a good game or a blow out for one team or the other.
The Giants beat the Eagles. It came down to ball possession. The Giants had the ball a lot longer than the Eagles did. They were able to run 20 more plays than the Eagles. So the Eagles drop to third in the division. It was a solid game on both teams parts and there were points that it could have gone either way.
Titans are still undefeated but it was much closer this week. It seems to be getting closer each week for them. The Colts vs. the Steelers game was a good one. That was one of those that could have gone either way in the last minute. The Falcons had a good last two minutes in the game against the Saints which was another game that could have gone either way.
In college games, Iowa vs. Penn State was a great game all the way through. The end was just wild. I think that Texas Tech not Alabama should be at the top of the rankings. And I think that Georgia Tech should still be in there. But that's just me.
In other news, I raked my front yard on Friday and by Saturday it didn't matter.
Caroline is doing much better. Thank you for all your kind thoughts for her. She was ready to go to school this morning.
This week might be all about the DVDs as in I want to sort them out and figure out what we have in our collection. It would be nice to have all of a TV series in one place and all the DVDs in their correct cases.
It's either that or another go at the lawn or may be some puppets.
I am grateful for rational discussion on the Internet when it occurs.
