Taking it one Day at a Time
Mar. 29th, 2007 09:45 amDavid's Funeral is Friday morning. Glenn posted the information at the same link as the memorial page in yesterday's blog if you want it. I am going to go to that and then onto my doll class. I have already done the e-mail exchange explaining why I am going to be late.
I am looking forward to Wendy's class. I always enjoy it and learn more each time since the knowledge is cumulative. I have the basics down, now I want to learn the refinements which is about where I am in the leaning curve. Also it is always fun to meet new people who have a passion for dollmaking and all things Froudian.
I made a decision that I was not going to beat myself up about what I do and don't get done the next couple of weeks. I'll meet my obligations for swaps and trades. I plan to work on the costumes for Shoreleave and try to get my clever idea done for the art show which I think I need to apply for. I have a couple of short stories I need to write as well but they will get done in time. I just need to get rid of the boulder that I am pushing up hill and all the pressures that go with it and I know I can do it.
Caroline has the spring time sniffles but her energy level and appetite are fine. She is racing round and playing with her toys. Currently all stuffed dinos and ponies are in some sort of conference.
Peter is working on his next novel which is an original work and then I think he gets back to Star Trek again or maybe the Wolverine novel is next.
Ariel has spring break next week. We are arranging for her to go visit her sister in Florida for a couple of days. She is looking forward to the trip.
Me? I just want to get to Monday with my sanity intact.
I am grateful for time to think.
