I love the fact that you can adjust the screen on Word so you can see it at a good size for you without having to play with the fonts and all the rest.

Yesterday Caroline and I played "make-over" which consisted of me finally getting some lip balm onto her chapped lips and painting her fingernails and toe nails after trimming them. Her nails are a vivid blue today and she could be happier. I also brush out her hair and put it into a nice braid (Caroline calls this style "Princess Hair"). It was fun to do.

I got the rest of the fabric for the first part of my next project. I am going to try to have things done by the Broadway Bears auction which is February 11th this year if it doesn't get snow out (which seems to happen every other year). Now if you get fabric at JoAnns, check and see if your local store is having a "all clearance fabric is a dollar" sale. I managed to get enough fabric for about a 1/3 of what I thought it was going to cost me. Does the Dance of Happy Fabric Finding at Reasonable Prices. Now if I could only find a cheap source for cloth covered buttons.....

Caroline is really good at putting jigsaw puzzles together. I got her a new 48 piece dinosaur puzzle with not an easy pattern and she put it together by herself with no problem. She loves putting puzzles together. Then she takes them apart, messing up the pieces, and puts them back together again. She also loves the set of markers I got her along with a large pad of paper. She is experimenting with different ways of drawing. Right now she is into squiggly lines. Last week it was making circles and carefully coloring them in. I kept one that looked like a Calder painting.

If you have the chance and haven't seen the episode of "Extras" with Daniel Radcliff, Warwick Davis, and Dame Diana Rigg, you should take the time. It is splendid fun and has one of the best grammar correction scenes ever. The scenes with Daniel can be found on YouTube if you are curious. I think Mr. Radcliff is going to be one of those that will transition between child and adult actor without a problem.

I have a funky idea for a doll that I might try to whip one up before the art show at Farpoint. If I do get it done, I will post pictures. I also have a wacky stuff animal idea that I am still mulling in my brainpan. Some day I will execute all these ideas. I have come to the conclusion that ideas are easy. Making them into reality is the hard part.

I am grateful that I do get such ideas and have the skills to get them into this dimension.

I have know Bill for longer than either of us care to remember.

He has always been a Solid Friend over the years.

He was also the first person to show me Dr. Who and Blake 7 and Red Dwarf and Sapphire and Steel.

Happy Birtday Buddy!
