on Vacation

Caroline and I had a good flight and arrived about an hour after we were suppose to in Florida. There was a band of thunderstorms rolling across the Southeast that re-routed the plane to avoid them which added time up at JFK when they were figuring out how they were going to avoid the bad weather and then in the air when we had to go further around due to the rapid movement of the storm. Caroline slept through the whole thing. I caught a quick nap.

We are now in St. Augustine where I have summered since I was 7 with a few years missed due to work and travel. Caroline is having a blast. She was playing in the surf and in the sand. Then in the pool with lot of splashing and fun. I am having a chance to relax and not cook dinner for a while (My mother is an excellent cook). Peter and Ariel join us on Tuesday. They have been having a great time in San Diego at the Comic Con. I will be glad when the famly is back together.

I am grateful that the trip here was so smooth.
