Wow. It's Tuesday. Monday was very busy. I got up and braved the commuter train into the city. I did finish the doll and got to briefly talk to Toby. He picked up the creative gene from his parents and is doing some beautiful and haunting sculptures. I think the thing that left me with the warmest fuzzy was Wendy telling me how much I had grown as a doll artist and that she was happy that she could see it since it makes her feel good too. I do have quite a few pictures from the class. Rode back during peak hours on my old favorite train and got a seat to myself much to my amazement. I went from the Train station to the Bowling Alley and didn't do so well but we have our good days and our bad bowling days. My team did pretty well over all. I impressed everyone with Muchly. By the time I came home Caroline was asleep on the couch so I carried upstairs to her bed.

This morning I awoke to a gentle rapping at my door. Then I hear Caroline tentatively ask if she could come in. Peter opened the door and Caroline ran into the room, hopped up on the bed and gave me a big hug. Then she settled into my arms and dosed for a bit while making happy content sighs that Mommy was here. We had our morning routine where she eats her breakfast and I read the paper and drink my coffee. She keeps patting my arm to make sure I am still here.

Ariel is off from school this week and she is going to go visit her sisters during the break. I have to get her packed and ready to go since she loves that I remember everything she forgets. She gets to pack what things she wants to bring to amuse her self.

I hope to get the pictures on the website today but no promises at this point. Today is all about the Caroline.

I am grateful that Caroline was so well behaved while I was gone.

When you see this in someone's LJ, quote Leo McGarry.

There are two things in the world you never want people to see how you make them - laws and sausages.

I am making a mental list of those who are snickering, and even as I speak I'm preparing appropriate retribution.

Mrs. Landingham: In my day we knew how to protect ourselves.
Leo McGarry: Well, in your day you could fight off the Indians with a Daniel Boone musket, couldn't you?
Mrs. Landingham: Ah, sarcasm - the grumpy man's wit.
Leo McGarry: Go sharpen a pencil, would you?
