Watch Doctor Who on SciFi Tonight!
Mar. 17th, 2006 08:44 amLet's get those numbers up. I want to see the second season on SciFi too. I will post my comments about the episodes tomorrow since I am taking the computer with me.
I am getting ready to go to LunaCon. I have a few things I need to finish up and I need to get packed. Then I am off for a weekend where I am going to have a good time getting together with some friends and catching up on life. If Caroline had a melt down that can only be solved with Mommy then I am a couple of hours away.
Peter and I went and saw a sort of sneak preview of "V for Vendetta". I enjoyed it. It had a lot of actors that I like. Hugo Weaving brought minimalist facial expressions down to its simplest form and did a wonderful job. I have discovered that if Natalie Portman is given a good strong director, she is much better as an actress. I didn't have any Padme flashes during the entire movie. It has the feeling of the graphic novel without being overly slavish to the source material. The story was simplified but by the end you have all the pieces of the puzzle that were contained in the book. The Matrix nod did not bother me as much as it did some other people. I am glad I saw it on the big screen because it is going to lose a lot on a smaller screen.
I am grateful that I am going to LunaCon this year.
