Caroline had a visit with her grandparents via the iChat last night. She was telling them about all kinds of things that had happened to her and about her day. She then grabbed our copy of the new Dr. Who Monsters and Villains and proceeded to tell her grandparents all about the Doctor (Doc Who), Rose, and various monsters she knows the names of. She is really enjoys that book. She is also carrying around the 6 Doctor Who novels based on the current series that have been published. My daughter is a Whovian at age 3. *sniff* I'm so proud.
I have the snake done. There are one or two refinements that have been asked for. After this weekend I'll post pictures since I want it to remain a surprise for those going to LunaCon. I am 50/50 about taking my computer with me to the convention. On the one hand I can catch up on some stuff I need to be catching up on. On the other hand then Peter doesn't have a convenient computer to use in the living room and he will be the primary caregiver for the weekend.
Caroline woke up running a bit of a fever. It is high enough that I can't take her out to her usual places for today. She had one yesterday too but it responded to medicine. I am hoping that this will be the case again today but I really don't like taking her out until she has been fever free for about 24 hours. Part of that is for her protection and the other part is for the protection of others. Her energy is good but her appetite is a bit off.
Next week I am all about the cleaning. I want to get the house in shape before I-Con in case we decide to have people over to the house. Then I have to maintain it for a week or so because my parents are visiting the following week I believe. April is also starting to crowd up with activities. I have the doll-making course with Wendy Froud. I think we have another convention in there somewhere. I don't remember if that is a just Peter or the whole family situation.
I am grateful for easy sew snaps.
