I awoke to the sound of what I thought was Ariel in the shower but turned out to be the rain outside the house. I feel sorry for everyone who has to work outside today especially the garbage men and our postal worker. Fortunately it is not that cold so you just have to deal with the wet. The moisture in the air isn't making my life any easier since felting includes a drying process that is much longer when it is damp.

I think I missed the deadline for LunaCon for the Art Show but I really hope that I might be able to get in. I have until March 1st for DragonCon for which I need to make some pictures of my newer work to be juried. I have to find the paperwork which is somewhere in the pile of papers on my desk. I have come to the conclusion that I can be neat and tidy or I can get these projects done. I still haven't figured out how to do both. I am better than I was in my teens and twenties so there is hope.

Caroline is playing with her castle and the horses that came with it. Her little people are still in their bin. The horses are apparently getting ready for a party. I loved horses when I was a child and Caroline is showing the same obsession. What is it with little girls and horses? Puppies are on her radar too. She loves pictures of puppies. She still gets along well with the cats. She has learned to be gentle with them and there has been no tail pulling. Right now one of the cats is stretched out on the floor next to her. She occasionally stops what she is doing and pets the kitty then goes back to the horses and the castle.

I am grateful for a quiet morning at home.
