It is amazing how a few degrees in temperature and water in a slightly different form can transform a landscape. I went to bed while there was still a lot of ice and snow on the ground. This morning I get up to find my lawn clear of any sign that winter had covered it. The winds have picked up again but it is in the mid 50s again. What strange weather we have been having this winter. The rain is good because it means we are not heading to drought conditions. Ski resorts are touting their snow making equipment trying to convince people to go ski even if it is 50 degrees.

I got a new tool to help me in my sewing. I now have a cutting table that collapses into a nice size but when unfolded will allow me to work with cloth and not have to get down on the floor. Caroline likes the table too. She has been doing her puzzles on it. She loved what she called "piece puzzle." She is really good at them too. She has some pretty abstract ones which she puts together without a problem. Currently there are 4 that she puts together and takes apart at least once a day.

I am grateful for tools that help me get stuff done sooner.
