Recovering from lack of sleep
Nov. 19th, 2005 10:27 amI've been asked what is my new Icon so here is the answer. It is John Tartagilla in his new show on Disney called Johnny and the Sprites.
Sometimes it is hard to write anything much less something in this web-log. This morning it had to do with others needing me more than writing on the computer. They needed me to be Mama this morning. To make pancakes and sew on bowling patches and kiss boo-boos. Right now we have a bunch of things going on that bring both happy and sad into the house. A majority are things that I can't talk about for a while probably a long while on a few. Some of them I wish I could but I know better than to post it out on the internet for all to see. Discretion being the better part of valor and all that. (Brownie points for the person who can identify the writer and the character of that quote without using Google or another search engine)
This weekend we are trying to keep quiet or at least not travel a lot. We are taking Caroline to see her first Disney on Ice show on Sunday. We found good seats at a good price and she is about the age when her sisters when to see their first ice show. Other than that we are trying to find a way for Peter to see Harry Potter and the family to see Chicken Little. Ariel has double bowling leagues today so she's pretty well booked.
I think I have caught up on my sleep. I don't feel as brain fuzzy as I had been feeling. I can connect two thoughts together and remember why I walked into a room. I figure that is progress at this point. I need to make Caroline's birthday list and figure out the theme to her party. I think we are going for Dora this year. I need to get my sewing machine back from the repair shop and a couple of other errands that Caroline and I can run if I can get her away from "brushing her teeth" which consists of her sucking water off her toothbrush after she makes a good effort to brush with her toothpaste.
I am grateful for being a Mom.
