Rain Delay

I had a busy day being Mommy for my family yesterday. I went food shopping which we needed to do a couple of days ago so now the larder is restocked. Caroline got up at 9 after her night of not good sleep. We went to Mommy and Me were Caroline was participating on her own terms and that seemed to be hiding from everyone else. I showed the other mothers my portfolio of some of my earlier puppet work. They were amazed at what I had done. Turns out there were a couple of Hellraiser fans in the group. They thought Pinhead was sooooo cute. Which is the reaction I usually get to that puppet. I might have to see if I can make another for DragonCon. It is just screwy enough.

I found some fun fabric to make puppets with. This morning I am going to finish my test for the job I applied for and send that in. This part is more difficult than the first part so I am having to think a bit longer on how I am going to write it up.

Weather is cold, windy, and rainy. The kind of weather that you really hope you don’t have to go outside for any length of time. This is the weather for the next couple of days. Caroline of course wants to go out for her morning run and is having a hard time taking no for an answer.

I am grateful for weather that makes you slow down a bit.
