Caroline obtained a large ball at Chucky Cheese. She has dubbed this object “big ball” which is short for her original name for it “big big ball”. It is about the size of one of those exercise balls you use to improve your abs. She has been rolling it around the house and up the stairs. She wanted to take it to bed with her but I informed her that she could play with it tomorrow and it was staying downstairs.

We watched the last episode of the season for “Desperate Housewives.” The whole season holds together from first episode to last. There is plenty to do with the characters at this point. I just hope that Mary Alice (Brenda Strong) continues to narrate the shows. There is something about her voice that has so much become a part of the show. The whole “why did Mary Alice shoot herself” thread held together well and had a nice beginning, middle, and end.

Another series that finished up recently which did the same thing was “Veronica Mars.” By the end the main mystery of “Who killed Lilly” was solved but there are repercussions that can be explored in the next season. I also liked that most of her cases were from kids in the high school that needed her help. There is also the soap opera aspect to the whole thing which is fun.

I have looked at the schedule for next season and must say that I am under whelmed with the shows proposed. I can’t say that I have seen anything that makes me want to add it to my schedule. As to the Wednesday cluster problem, it hasn’t really gotten any better since they moved shows that we like in competition with each other on other nights. I am looking forward to this weeks Variety which will have the grids so I can see how many VCRs are going to be going this time.

Caroline has new shoes. They are Dora the Explorer shoes and she is very happy to have them. So much so that we had to let her wear them when she had her PJs on until it was time for bed when the shoes came off with the promise that she can wear them tomorrow. She is also picking out her shirt for the day and sometimes the whole outfit. She is growing up so fast.

The cut on the back of my heel is improving. I had Peter pour some Hydrogen Peroxide on it. Hurt like stink but that seems to have killed the infection. I also put some Neosporin on it before going to bed. I have bowling league tonight so I need to get some sort of pad to cushion the area to keep me from further damage to the area.

I may be making some puppets for my classmates. Just basic hand and rod dudes and dudettes to practice with. My partner has the beginnings of our sketch for Saturday. I am really enjoying my time with puppets right now.

I am grateful for Hydrogen Peroxide.
