Peter rolled an 800 series which is one of the hardest things to do in bowling. He also rolled a game 100 pins over his average. I am very proud of him. When he was bowling the third game, the other players started to figure out what he needed to bowl the 800. He ended with 802 pins knocked over for the evening. Quite an accomplishment. He won a ring for the 800, a watch for 100 over his average, and he gets his name on the wall of the bowling center for the 800 games.

Today she is 2 years and 5 months old. She has recovered from the stomach flu for which I am grateful. She is growing by leaps and bounds. She is now wearing 4T PJs and they fit fine.
Yesterday she informed me that she can count. I had fed her dinner and given her some goldfish to eat. She sat in her chair and ate a few of them. Then I heard her say under her breath,” 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.”
I looked up and she had lined up 5 fish in a row. She processed to eat each counting down from 5 to 1. I brought out 5 more fish crackers. She counted up to five and ate those. I asked her, “Do you want five more goldfish?”
She looked me straight in the eye and said with authority, “Six!” So I brought her 6 fish crackers.
She knows that you need to wear shoes and socks if you are going outside. She knows how to climb into the car making it easier to get her into her car seat. She knows a lot that is going on around her. She is now starting to interact actively rather than passively in what is happen.
She loves to play at the playground. She loves kicking her soccer ball around the yard. She is a very active two year old. She has her quiet moments too. She likes me to read to her but she has to pick the book. She likes sitting in my lap and relaxing. She loves for us to build with her blocks. She is healthy and happy and for that I am grateful.
I am grateful I can watch Caroline grow up.
