On the Mend
Apr. 28th, 2005 08:53 amWe seem to have turned the corner. Caroline express interest in food again and happily munched on cheerios all through the day. We had no upchucking and she slept in her own bed over night. She woke up once but used her music box to sooth herself back to sleep. My only concern is her continued major diarrhea at this point. If she has another liquid diaper, we are to call the Doctor.
This morning she is much better in terms of her energy level. Rather than coming down stairs and falling back to sleep or vegging on the couch, she is playing with her action figures and blocks. And she wants more Cheerios.
Today I am taking Ariel and a friend of hers into the city for a visit to the American History museum. I know we are only going to get to part of it but I have promised we will come back during the summer for another visit or two. They also want to go to Monster Sushi for lunch. It should be a nice trip. The weather is proving to be most wonderful. Now I just need to find my New York map....
I am grateful for the healing powers that our bodies call upon in times of stress.
