Puppet Replica?

This is what I get for not opening the box before I speak about a product. It is NOT a Puppet at all. It is a PUPPET REPLICA. Basically it's a plush doll of Angel that sort of looks like the puppet from Smile Time. I was basing the handgrip on the head-size I saw through the window of the box which was small. I opened it up and there is no puppet to be found. Puppet Replica not a real puppet. But it is a limited edition that comes with a signed piece of paper congratulating you on buying something cool. This means I am going to make a vampire detective by DragonCon at least. I’ll be e-mailing some of you who inquired after I quit making them because I didn’t want to step on the toes of the licensee at all. And yes the nose will detach.

In answer to Jeff’s question from yesterday, the eye brows are still brown and look a little odd compared to the hair but on the original puppet the eyebrows were brown just a darker fur color.

I did get the kitchen done and first pass on the living room and bedroom. We didn’t go into the city but went to the Atlantis Marine World in Riverhead. It was the perfect choice. It is a good size aquarium but not too big so we loose little persons in the facility. Caroline loved it. They have the exhibits either low enough or with step stools so that she could look into the tanks without assistance. She ran from exhibit to exhibit looking at the fish and commenting the whole time. She spent a lot of time looking at the fish in the shark tank. There was a sea turtle that came right to the window. He fascinated Caroline.

They had a tank were you could stick your hands in and, if they wanted to, the rays could brush your hand. Caroline was splashing the water at a rapid rate when one of the ray glided by and splashed her. She jumped back away from the tank. Later she just put her hand in the tank and didn’t splash. I put mine next to hers. We stood quietly next to each other. A small shark ran under my hand first. Then a ray just touched my fingers. The next one touched my fingers and then Caroline’s. She smiled. We stood there with our hands in the tank as the creatures of the sea ran under our fingers. It was good afternoon for all.

I am grateful to share that experience at the ray tank with my daughter.
