RTBTCKI (Another in a series)
Feb. 25th, 2005 09:00 amThe Wendy Froud class is closed. They have set up an e-mail list if you want to find out when the next class is. Given the interest that they had, I’m betting there will be another one. I’ll also bet the fee will be a bit higher. I am so glad that I did get in.
Caroline woke up with that deep horrible sounding cough that might be croup. We are hoping it is just a cough but there is that rattle in her lungs when she coughs. Miss. Caroline is not going to be able to play in the snow today.
We got about 8 inches to a foot. Peter has shoveled the walk and parts of the driveway so we are village compliant until someone blows snow back onto the walk we have carefully shoveled. It looks pretty enough. The roads are clear right now and with any luck will dry out by tonight. The sun is out and helping the process.
Peter had fun at the PBA tournament yesterday. He came back with several good stories. I was happy that he came home in one piece considering how awful the roads were by the time he was driving from Babylon lanes.
Caroline is taking it easy today. She is showing spurts of her usual toddler energy but she is also spending quiet time with her large bear, pink blanket, and her stuffed Dora the Explorer. Earlier all she wanted was to sit in my lap and drink her morning “ba”. She ran around for a bit doing various activities including a long game of chase the kitties. Now she is vegging out in her pen with her stuffed animals.
My back is still not 100% but it is not a precarious as it was the other day. If I am sensible about movement and picking things up, I think I can avoid spending time flat on my back. I need to look at exercises or something to keep this from happening. This is something that happened after I had Caroline and I have been told that is not usual or strange.
Ariel gets back this evening. We are all going to go to the airport to greet her if Caroline improves greatly in the next 10 hours. If Caroline is still poorly then Peter is going to go get Ariel and we will wait at home dizzy with anticipation. We’ll just have to see how everything is later.
My mantra today is that I will get my workspace in the living room in shape. I have a doll I am working on for this really cool Round Robin doll swap. She is very determined to be all that she can be. I want a clear space to finish her up before sending her onto the next stop. I did any and all shopping I needed to do yesterday so I wouldn’t have to leave the house except to pick-up Ariel.
RTBTCKI stands for ......Well what do you think it stands for? (Let’s keep it PG folks. I have minors who read this blog)
I am grateful for a husband who shovels walks so I don’t have to.
