I am betting we get next to nothing for snow today. Why, you may ask, with all the warnings and hoopla? Because every time this season they have been making predictions of the dire snowfall we have gotten squat. It goes to the north of Long Island. But they predicted a light dusting and we got 6 inches. Sure, the weather map looks like we are about to be hit but I am going to go on believing that it will not be a problem here. I will concede that the winds whipping up the snow can be a big problem because we have had only 2 inches of snow, which was a pain because of the wind.

Just in case, I am going to bring in a couple of things from my studio to work on in case the snows do come. I figured the more prepared I am for a storm the less likely we are to get one. As I type this the skies are getting darker and looking more like snow.

Caroline is turning into a bit of a Drama Queen. She is now setting herself up to look like she took a spill and then cries for someone to comfort her. It worked the first couple of times but I watched her fall and figured out she was doing it to herself. She now knows that we are on to her so she is not doing it as much. We have also been having a problem with her waking up in the middle of the night. She wants up and out and we have been trying to get her to go back to sleep. It worked last night but the night before she woke up at 4:15 and didn’t go back to sleep until 9:15 and she was perky the whole time. She is testing her limits and ours every day. I take the view that she is learning from each of these experiences.

Not much else going on that I can really talk about. Peter has the next cover the Hulk on his website. It is based on the Frazetta drawing for Molly Hatchet. You can see it at www.peterdavid.net. I think it really looks neat. He is having a lot of fun being back with the Hulk and then there is the super secret Marvel project I can’t talk about yet. I really have to check and make sure I don’t let certain cats out of bags before they are to be let out. I tend to take my cue from Peter’s website since he is very careful about this sort of thing.

I am grateful for really good ice melters.
