Longer Days Shorter Blogs
Jun. 24th, 2004 10:00 amFor the next two week my life is going to be mostly costuming and daughter’s needs. I have done a pretty good job of keeping up with this blog so far and am rather proud of that. Most of my skips have to do with lack of internet connection rather than lack of ideas for the blog. I have a lot of different things that run through my head for blog entries. Some I forget by the next day, Others I jot down on the computer. I like blogging a lot. It is a form of creative writing / journal writing which I need to do more of anyway. I think creative writing is one of those “use it or loose it” activities. It’s not something I can just start cold on. Your milage may vary.
Peter did get Bill Clinton’s autograph after standing in line for 5 hours. He then saw Spiderman II. See his blog for details www.peterdavid.net which he is typing right now as I am typing this for my blog. The Internet is sooo cool. Last night Caroline and I visited with my parents via iChat for about half an hour. Because we have the internet, they can watch her grown and move in real time rather than just pictures and a voice on the telephone. Caroline gets to see her grandparents too which is great when we have a face to face visit because they are not total strangers to her. I think the internet is making this globe smaller and smaller since we can now talk to people all over the world and it doesn’t take 2 to 4 weeks to get a reply due to the postal system in the various countries. I think that the world wide web is going to take us further to global unity than any other invention of the 20th century
