Baseball-
The Cardinals pulled this one out of thin air. This was a classic example of why you watch baseball games to the end of the game. So they are back to St. Louis for game 6 where the Cardinals are in must win situation for the next two games to advance. The Astros are so hungry for their first World Series appearance that I believe this one is going to go the distance.
Weather-
Nice crisp fall day ahead of us. The weather looks pretty good for the week which will be nice. I think I am going to be able to get some yard work done this week along with the lights and decorations for Halloween.
Caroline-
We had a bit of a set back. She woke up yesterday with a temperature of 101. The fever responded to medicine but once the medicine wore off the fever came back. The fever seems to have broken and she is her normal temperature this morning. Her energy level seems pretty normal for Caroline but she did sleep in so I am guessing it is a no nap day.
Halloween costumes-
We changed our idea last night because Caroline has taken to walking around with a basket. I thought Little Red Riding Hood but I think we are going with her as Dorothy and Ariel as Miss Piggy as the Wicked Witch which means I might be making one of those biker jackets for Ariel. I think still have my black leather biker hat around here somewhere and I know I have a great pattern for a Miss Piggy head..
Me-
The antibiotic has been making eating difficult. One of the side effects is nausea which I have been having in spades. I think I am feeling better. I know that it is easier to think than it was a couple of days ago. Now if I can just get rid of the coughing and the sniffing.
I have a job I am going to try for that would combine my abilities as a book editor, researcher, and stage manager. My big fear is that the words, "Aren't you a little old for this position" are going to be said. I would be able to save them money if they hired me but we'll see what happens.
The last four performances of MOST HAPPY are going to be at the Bennegan's this weekend. Everything has been worked out for this run. So this is your last chance to see the play in this venue.
My bowling team went to first in our league last night. I did contribute by bowling over my average all three games. We are working on our name for the team. My current favorite is "Terry and the Pirates."
Peter-
Has a million and three things going on all at the same time. Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman #1 is going back to press so that's good. He is working on several outlines for several projects so he is keeping busy.
Ariel-
She is feeling better now. She helped raise the money so we know that the bowling team is a go at the high school. Now she is going to try for the team. She has joined the local Bowl-a-Lympic group and is having fun with them. So far there is not a school play but that may change. The school is on an austerity budget because they couldn't get the voters to approve one. I think that may change next year.
I am grateful for agents.
