Why don't we call them Himacanes?

I am asking my readers to prayer or think good thoughts or however you pass on positive energy for everyone and every thing in the path of Hurricane Rita. She seems to be slowing down a bit but the hit is going to be a bad one for whoever gets it in the teeth. Also for all the people in the coastal areas already affected that this one will not affect them more.
It will be a busy weekend. Peter is off to South Dakota for a conference as of very early tomorrow. I have rehearsal this evening and this weekend I want to get all the hairpieces done along with the mask. Ariel has bowling and a few other things she needs to do. I don't know what Caroline has in her date-book but I am sure I will find out. In this household a moment of silence with nothing to do is a rare find indeed. I know I don't find myself clock watching unless we are trying to get somewhere on time and then I have to keep a close eye on it.
I have solved, I hope, the problem I was having with my e-mail. I found the solution while talking to my father on the phone. They made it back yesterday morning having spent the night in Miami. We had a visit via our iChats yesterday evening. Caroline sort of participated when she felt like it but was defiantly miffed that she hadn't seen her grandparents in a while. She has ways besides screaming or crying to let her displeasure with someone or something known.
I am grateful that Caroline has discovered other ways of expressing herself.
