RTBTCKI (Yet Another the series)

Last I heard my parents were stuck in France trying to get back to the US. Their flight into Miami had been delayed due to hurricane Rita and they weren't sure when they would be getting back to Atlanta due to the delay. I think if they did make it home, they are asleep right now because that kind of travel will suck any energy you had right out of you.
Hurricane Rita has moved up to a category 4 Hurricane. The Gulf Coast is bracing but there are questions that if it moved whether New Orleans will be flooded out again. Galveston looks like a lost cause at this point if the storm continues to move as projected. We have another two months of this before Hurricane season is over. I wonder what it will bring next.
I have been rather lucky and managed to pick up on E-bay a couple of the Vogue Muppet Costumes Patterns from the mid 1980s at rather reasonable prices. I don't think I would have bought them at the time since they are sized for kids but they look really good and I know I am at the point that I can make them. Apparently there are people who collect uncut patterns. I guess people will collect anything
We watched Nip/Tuck last night. We taped House and Bones because we wanted to see Dancing with the Stars. I hope John kicks Kelly's skinny butt this time. I think he and Charlotta were robbed this summer. Nip/Tuck had us going with the opening. Considering what they had done in previous seasons the set up at the beginning was entirely possible. A strong opening to one of the more stomach turning drama series. I'll see House probably Friday. Rome was renewed by HBO on the strength of the first couple of episodes and lots of good buzz. Yea it does have its shock value but over all the rich tapestry and needed a scorecard to know all the players is the best since I, Claudius.
I want to tell Hollie that the name of the other DVD was Kaena: The Prophecy which is a French animated movie and voiced by a pretty interesting American cast for the US. Peter said he remember the reviews as not very good on the whole project but then I don't think reviewers are necessarily the target audience for this sort of thing. There is some more information at IMDB.com if you enter "Kaena"
I want to thank Mark for the West Ham information. I know that the stuff portrayed in the movie is not the way it is now. Considering the ending, I didn't think it was glamorizing football hooliganism at all. I am going to look into getting at least a shirt.
I still can't get my offline mailbox to talk to my mailbox online and download anything into the one here on my computer. It is still asking for my password and declaring it to be the wrong one while when I go through the web it works fine. This is getting annoying to say the least. Oh well. I hope that either it sorts itself out or I can figure out what happened between Monday and Tuesday to cause the program to go haywire.
Glenn- Thanks for the heads up on CBGB and I did I tell you that I found the Videotape and the back-up?
I am grateful for a hot cup of coffee to start my morning with.
