So close and Yet

puppetmakerI am getting closer to the finish line but the line seems to be moving further away as I find other things I need/want to do to finish the costumes. I did get a lot done yesterday thanks to Peter and Ariel tag teaming on Caroline who had a very fun day. They took her to a small amusement park. She rode the Carousel for 45 minutes straight. Peter thought towards the end he might hurl. Then with Ariel she rode the spinning cups for about 30 minutes. Ariel felt like her father by the end of her long ride. Caroline was just fine and ready to give the spinning cups another go when they left. She likes fast and spinning.
Now a short rant about something that has been bugging me for a while, the internet is a neat place where anyone can pretend to be anyone or anything or know anyone or anything. So anything anyone says on the internet can be true, partial true, true to them, or not true at all. If I say that I have met someone, I have met them. If I say that I have worked with an individual, we have worked in a professional capacity in some way. If I say I am an acquaintance of an individual then we know of each other probably have exchanged e-mail address and/or phone numbers. If I say someone is a friend then it is someone I have known for a while and consider to be someone that I can count on and they can count on me. Yes I do know quite a few “cool” people but I don’t make a point of pointing it out because there is no reason for it. If you really know me then you have an idea of what kind of circles I run in and the other people who are running in those circles. I am not going to start a laundry list of people I know.
Today I hope to get two of the major pieces down and beginning to finish bits and pieces that need to be done. Tomorrow I really hope I am in the home stretch to have everything done. That will give me Thursday to tie up some loose ends and get things in order for a very busy day on Friday.
