puppetmaker | More Done and More to Do

I got quite a bit done yesterday and hope to get more done today. The humidity has finally gone away for a few days and it is very nice outside. Yesterday was a day of time-outs for Caroline as she did a number of things she knows she shouldn’t do. She does not like time-outs but she has learned if she calms down and proves that she is in control of herself that we let her go. The thing she hasn’t learned is that this is not a free pass to go and do something that will get her pretty fast back into a time-out. But then she is two so there is a learning curve.

Today I plan to play a lot with papier-mâché which I am finding to be a great medium for all kinds of costume pieces. Off to sculpt in clay.

Everyone have a good Fourth of July and please don’t play with fireworks unless you are a registered professional. It is hard enough to type with 10 fingers imagine how hard it would be to type with less than that.
