puppetmaker | The Beginning of the Costume Frenzy

I got a chunk of the coat done. I want to finish it this morning and move onto the next piece of the costume. I just have to find what I did with the pattern for it. I need to explore a bit what I have out in my studio since I may have more of the stuff than I think I do. I believe I have a couple of shirts that will serve for what I want to do but I may have to make a smaller version of the shirts because one of my actors is much more petite than the person I originally built the costume for.

Today I spend some time shopping for some of the other items I need and the next set of fabrics for the next set of costumes. I also need to go to some of the thrift stores to see if I can just pick up a couple of pieces that need a little altering to shorten the time I need which is rapidly filling up with activities.

I am grateful that I can now find patterns that fit the period I am trying to build costumes for.
