I miss my iBook

I miss my Internet connection. I miss my so called social life on the Internet.
Glenn the Magnificent did install a lovely 100 gig hard drive into the machine. He got the data back onto the hard drive and then the screen started acting up with the famous iBook problem of putting wires in hinges makes for screen failure. So it is off to the repair shop until I don't know when. *sigh*
Peter has been gracious enough to lend me his computer when he is not using it. For those of you who knows how much he writes in a year between his comics, columns, scripts, and books, you know it isn't much time.
Today is the day I start Scorpie the Puppet in earnest. I have to make sure I have all the parts I need. I think I am going to be making a short trip to Home Depot, Staples, and Radio Shack for the rest of the parts. I lucked out that I have the “skin” for his clothing so that makes this project a bit easier than some.
I am grateful for the ability to post this.
