We have a dry erase board in our kitchen. The primary purpose is the grocery list. This past week I left messages for Caroline and Peter on it before I headed into work since they were asleep.

Yesterday I posted, “Let’s resolve to not make any resolutions until 2021 proves it is less of a dumpster fire than 2020.”

And I am going to hold myself to that.

Last night we toasted the end of 2020 with sparkling apple cider. Everyone was awake at midnight which is a first in a while.

Since we went to bed so late, we all got up later than usual for us. Which is fine since we have nowhere to go and nothing to do.

I am betting there are a lot fewer hangovers this morning.

I am proud to say that I am now a permanent part-time employee of Michaels Craft Store. I really like my job. It makes me use skills that I haven’t been able to exercise in a while. I like my fellow employees and management is the best. I am looking forward to a long time at this job.

I wish all of you reading this a happy and healthy year. May it bring you what you need.

Here’s to a better year than last year.

I am grateful that I have a job that suits me.

I don't plan on making any resolutions beyond "try to help make the worlds better this year".

I'm not making any resolutions. (Not that I normally do.) My plan for 2021 can be summed up as "keep on keeping on." If I can continue to put one foot in front of the other, I'll get somewhere eventually.
