puppetmaker | Spring please

We are 10 days from the Vernal Equinox, which is the beginning of Spring. You couldn’t tell it from the weather around here. We are starting to run out of our super ice melt. When this winter started we had about 3/4 of a box left and it is not a small box. Now we have a little in the bottom of the box and another storm on the horizon.

I am looking forward to this weekend a lot. I have the doll class, a ticket to Avenue Q for Saturday night, and a night to myself. It will be good to have a bit of time to think without the usual distractions around me. Sometimes you have to go somewhere you don’t know to clear your head. Right now it is too cold for me to do my usual method by going to a local park for a good think.

I did get all the aprons done for a rehearsal that was cancelled because the teacher couldn’t make it to the school due to the weather. I am going this afternoon and will have to figure out the lighting really fast. They have a show for Senior citizens on Saturday and I won’t be there. I have one day to figure out what I am teaching the kids for Saturday. Then I have Monday to clean it up for the shows next week. I have limited time because I have my parents arriving on Monday barring unforeseen weather.

I am grateful that Spring is around the corner. No really it is.
