puppetmakerFor some strange reason I have the old Monster Truck Rally commercials running through my head on repeat.
Caroline’s robot team is competing next weekend. Apparently the team dyes their hair red for this. Yesterday she went and got a pixie cut along with becoming a red head. The look really suits her. She is very happy with it. Thinking back I believe I was 15 when I got my hair cut short for the first time.
I can’t believe I am saying this but celebrities are people too and they have their good days and bad days like everyone else. Something said at an interview after having spent the day dealing with the press is something being said by a very tired person who is probably pretty punchy by this point plus they are asked about something that they asked not to talk about. That’s not on point cutting journalism but rather rude and pointless. We know the answer because they have said the same thing for years. All that was added was fodder for the trolls to claim that the celeb is a bad person now.
Holding one’s public face in place is very draining.
Baseball is about to start. I am not holding much hope that any team I have an interest in are going to do much this year. I am tired of hearing the word ‘rebuilding’ as to why the team losing is a good thing. They are working to get better is a lame excuse that no longer satisfies the fans. This holds true for most professional sports teams.
Mewlan has settled in. She has her routine. Kitty politics are mostly sorted out at this point. I have found the cats grooming each other and cuddling up into a cat pile. There are still spats but for the most part we have kitty harmony.
Boy I have a lot to do this week. I could just shut down on this or figure out how I am going to get it all done.
Off to work on the next thing that MUST BE DONE.
