Quiet House

puppetmakerToday very early we took Caroline to the airport to fly down and see her sister Ariel and help out with AJ. We will pick her up on our way down to Dragon Con.
Which means the house consists of Peter, me, and the cats.
It is an adjustment, which happens whenever Caroline goes off for more than an afternoon. For one thing I have to remember to turn off the house alarm in the morning since she always did that. And now I have to do laundry, which she has been doing for the entire summer.
So today is adjustment and tomorrow is back to work.
Due to traffic on the various highways and parkways, her plane landed before we got home. Let that one sink in a bit.
I am grateful that her trip was so smooth.
