Going to give blood today

Honestly I try to be pretty regular about donating blood but I have been slacking off for a bit the last year.
I got a call from the local blood bank and was informed that for my blood type, they considered what they had on hand as below critical and could I please come in and give some blood.
Now when I tried at DragonCon last year my iron levels were not to their liking. I am hoping that whatever that aberration was, it is no more. If it happens again, then I think I might be having a conversation with my physician about low iron levels.
Peter is in Denver for the Denver Comic Con this weekend. Stop on by and say ‘Hi’.
We were going to go with him however Caroline’s Exam schedule precluded us from going. She had an English final yesterday, a math final today and her science final on Monday. Then I think she has social studies on Wednesday and she is done. Regents start next year for her.
Puppet faces and clothing are the next thing to be done for the first set of puppets I need to pull off a miracle.
Caroline and I are making this a sewing weekend to finish up some projects and start a few new ones.
She has one activity this afternoon with the opening of the teen branch of the local library if she can get her flute part down.
Inky is melding with my hip. I am going to have an Inky sized bruise on my leg where she keeps head-butting me.
I am grateful that I can give blood and help.
