15 years ago Peter and I stood up in front of our family and friends and pledged ourselves to each other.
15 years ago we made a promise to each other to take care of the other in good times and bad, in sickness and health.
I find it amazing that I love Peter more and more every day. Every day I don’t think I can love him more but I do.
I know he is in my corner and he knows I am in his. We back each other up. We help each other be the best we can be. We deal with things as they come along.
We have seen each other at our best and our worst and neither of us have run away.
Today we are traveling to MegaCon and that will be most of our day, which is fine because we are together.
It has been one heck of a ride and I am looking forward the next 15 years and beyond.
(For the VI: This is Peter and me. I am feeding him cake. We agreed to be polite about the cake)
I am grateful for the past 15 years with Peter.

On the cake -- in my totally non-scientific survey, the people who "smash cake" rudely into each other's faces do not last long as a married couple.
Polite is a much better choice.
