RTBCKI Vibrations

Went to bed late and woke up at 4:00 AM. Tried to get back to sleep but couldn’t so gave up and got up at 5:15 AM. Caroline was up by 5:45. Might have to take a nap today.
Tomorrow is our 15th wedding anniversary. Hard to believe that it was so long ago but it also seems like it was yesterday. I like that after 15 years of marriage we are still silly in love with each other.
Inky has been hovering close to me recently. She is insisting on pets rather than allowing me to pet her. And she is now joining Fig in afternoon naptime on the bed. Much more social with us these days.
The past couple of days have been rather frustrating in that essential tremors are dictating what I can and cannot do rather than me. Threading a needle has become an adventure. Cutting a straight line is hit or miss. Holding onto an object with one hand is a total crap shoot. And the head twitch is back. I had not missed that one at all.
I know that this will go on for a couple of days and settle down to the usual feeling of vibrating from the inside that, for the most part, I can ignore. Like you don’t realize you are wearing clothing until you start thinking about it and then you can feel every piece of cloth that is touching your body.
I have a list today that is as long as my arm. There are things to be done for packing. There are things to be done to get the house ready for the cat sitter. There are things to be done for the cats and humans. I have to make sure we have all our medications and usual travel items. And we are packing books and the like to sell at MegaCon.
Since we are going to Florida, I need to pack things like sunscreen and make sure we have hats and sunglasses to wear.
I have to do the finishing touches on Rose and get her stand done. I am thinking of bringing two sets of Holmes and Watsons and the War Doctor. I think Rumple and Nick are going to get a rest this time.
Need to pack Caroline’s art supplies since she wants to sell drawings at the convention and make some pocket money.
There is a lot that goes into going to a convention.
I think I will start with laundry and go from there.
I am grateful for things that make convention packing easier.
