Or rather sort of beyond as I am in the hotel room with our bags mostly packed since we are going to a hotel in the West End of London for the rest of our stay. Makes it easier to get around the city rather than being out by ExCel London. This evening Peter will be signing at Forbidden Planet which should be fun.

The second day was a little slower overall but that was not a bad thing since Peter signed on Saturday for almost 5 hours straight before he got a break. We had time to talk to people. Caroline participated in a documentary on comics and drawing, which was fun for her. She sold quite a few drawing and has some pocket money to buy things with for the rest of the trip.

We had a lovely time and were very well taken care of by the convention. Met a lot of people and had a chance to talk about all kinds of subject including, strangely enough, the NBA. People kept telling Peter how happy they were to meet him considering where he was last year when we were suppose to be attending. We were happy to meet them too considering where Peter was a year ago (home but in out patient rehab).

It was interesting being the people with the strange accents at the convention.

Also there were a lot of photographers photographing the cos-players. I saw a lot of high-end equipment being hauled around and set up in various places for photo shoots. I have seen less equipment being used for a professional shoot.

Today is all about London and tomorrow we are off to Cardiff for the day.

I am grateful for all the people that we met this weekend.

Are you definitely going to be at the Doctor Who exhibition? If so, what time and do you want some company? We're only 40 minutes from Cardiff :D

Unfortunetely the exhibit is closed tomorrow. So our plans have changed slightly.

Oh how annoying. You could come to us for afternoon tea though :P

(Actually we're a real pain to get to by public transport because the closest train station is a bit of a hike and there aren't many trains to ours. But shout out if you'd like us to come to you - it would be lovely to see you again.)

After you leave London I'd be curious to know what hotel in the West End you stayed in and what your experience was like. I will be travelling to Europe later this summer and need a hotel for two nights. Thanks.

I'd love to hear a little more detail about the London cosplay/costuming scene. I've heard some inklings of disturbing things re: media and cosplayer relations in England, and it has me a little leery of WorldCon.
